My camera is my constant companion and my mind always produces an invisible viewing frame that calls the unseen to attention. I want to tell stories through images and combine my love of photography and the written word to fulfil my persistent desire to understand the world around me. Curiosity is at my core and I use my photographs to capture feelings visually. I frame my images to focus the eye on the untold, the unspoken and sometimes the non-present. It is through highlighting the fleeting ephemeral moments that we can truly grasp the whole. In my writings I use words to transpose the reader and myself into a time or a place where the mind can summon imagery to intensify the thoughts I want to express. I want to engage all the senses and investigate the link between the mind, the eye and the image to better understand humanity. I believe that today we must use alternate ways to fight injustice and to initiate conversations that can only lead to progress. Our world is a narrative environment; I want to learn how to compose sensorial interactive narratives and to skillfully immerse the viewer in a dynamic context that captures all the senses to explore any subject or social issue such as the narrowing of the gender divide, a cause I am passionate about. My goal is to develop both my photography and poetry, to further my exploration of society and how it functions, while seeking to understand the true nature of consciousness. These are my tools in my path to discover my inner being and the world I live in, it is the language I use to communicate, it is my way to make things happen and my sword in the battle to make a difference.
